He has crowned 123 Miss Malaysia winners and more than 150 international titleholders.
He was appointed Senior Advisor to Communication 21 Media Group, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of ASEAN Records.
For his service to the nation, he was conferred the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) award in 2002, carrying the title “Datuk,” and later the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) award in 2014, carrying the title “Tan Sri.”
Chris is a serial entrepreneur, investor entrepreneur, corporate restructuring strategist and practitioner. He was the Member of PEMUDAH – The Task Force for Ease of Doing Business (under Economy Ministry and Malaysia Productivity Corporation purview) from 2021 – 2026. He is currently the Emeritus Chairman of Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce (MDCC), Exco Member of Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MICCI) – Central and ASEAN Representative for China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS). He also served as industry partner and advisor to Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Secretariat. At the present he the General Partner of Monarch MC5 Pillars Ventures PLT a registered fund with Security Commission Malaysia and Chairman of Koperasi Permodalan Sukarelawan Kuala Lumpur Berhad.
